An Eastern Pennsylvania city, and the largest city in Pennsylvania. It is nicknamed the 'City of Brotherly Love.' It is home to the Philly Cheese Steak, the Hoagie, and many sports teams, including the Philadelphia Flyers (National Hockey League), Philadelphia Eagles (National Football League), Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers (National Basketball Association), Philadelphia Phillies (Major League Baseball), Philadelphia Wings (National Lacrosse League), Philadelphia Union (Major League Soccer), and formerly the Philadelphia Soul (Arena Football League) and the Philadelphia Athletics (Major League Baseball). Philadelphia is home to many corporations, including Comcast, Lincoln National Corporation, Tasty Baking Corporation (makers of Tastykakes), and Pepboys Auto. The city was once the capital of the United States of America, until taken over by British soldiers in the American Revolutionary War. Philadelphia is home to Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence was created) and the Liberty Bell.
