A style of music that emerged in the 2000's. Regressive Rock is commonly characterized by relentless use of 4/4 time, unimaginative lyrics, mundane 4 minute verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus song structures and lengths, and generally untalented musicians. Instrument choice is limited to guitar bass and drums. Also sometimes called "Reg Rock"
