The act of aborting a person with a shotgun. This is not confined to shooting the gun, as the butt of the gun is also useful to perform the abortion as well. The use of this term is found primarily in First Person Shooters such as the Halo series and the Call of Duty series. A person will defeat a player using a shotgun and proclaim the victim to be "shotgun aborted".
