Luna is an odd character of the Harry Potter series. She has eyes that give her a perminately surprised look, pale eyebrows, waist length dirty-blonde hair(though in the OOTP movie, it is white blonde), and gives of a distinct edge of dottiness, seeing as she reads her father's magazine upside-down, tucks her wand behind her left ear, and wears Spectrespecs. She is in the house of Ravenclaw. She wears radish earrings, and a necklace of Butterbear corks. Her father, Xenophilius Lovegood, was the editor of 'The Quibbler,' but her mother was dead, killed by a backfired experimental spell. Also in 'OOTP,' Luna becomes, you could say, somewhat friends with Harry and his crew(they met on the Hogwarts Express), joins Dumbledores army, and was at Harry's aid in the Department of Mysteries. Luna attended Professeur Slughorn's Christmas Party in HBP, and was caught by wizard muggers in DH along with Harry, Hermione, and Ron. She fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, married Rolf Scamander, and had twin children, Lorcan and Lysander Scamander.
