A great actress, one of the best of the 20th Century. She was elegant, beautiful and acted admirably. She married young to Prince Rainiero of Monaco, which was a pity as she stopped doing movies. She won an Academy Award (aka Oscar) for her performance in "A Country Girl". One of her best movies is "To Catch a Thief", opposite Cary Grant. She was a favorite of one of the best directors of all times, Alfred Hitchcock. If you don't know her, I would buy/rent one of her movies. She's an icon. Sadly, most of the young generation only know her name due to the song by Mika, but don't know what a great personality that name has behind.
