The name Ziggy comes from the David Bowie album, 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars'. The album was released in 1972. 'Ziggy Stardust' is one of Bowie most well known names from stage and album. 'Ziggy' was also the name given to Bob Marley's son. Ziggy marley is now a five time Grammy-winning Jamaican musician and leader of the band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. Ziggy is an other name for Marijuana.
