the opposite to what people who live in an urban setting are called (townies). it is mainly a group of 15-18 year olds that regulary gather for "piss-ups" and to share the latest news. a group of farmies that have people over 18 are normaly refered to "farmers" A group of "farmies" consists of males and females. The meetings ALWAYS are outside but are not limited to sheds etc. It is also traditional to have some sort of fire for warmth and lighting.
