A debate round consists of eight speeches, four by both team, that are split up into two kinds: constructive and rebuttal, with 3-minute cross examinations after all of the constructives. Looks really good for college applications. The average debater is a beast, and can read and think at almost inhuman speeds. Most have ridiculous egos, and for good reason; it's hard to be humble when you are the best kind of nerd on the planet. Capable of typing extremely fast and crazy buff from carrying tubs of evidence everywhere.
