(Australian) A percussive instrument; an upright pole upon which are screwed/nailed beer bottle tops. The sound is produced by hitting the instrument on the floor - often at the same time as it is struck at the mid section with a with a solid piece of wood. The produced sound is similar to a bass drum (when hit on a raised timber floor, typically that of a pub) combined with a tambourine.
