Someone who's intelligent enough to admit perhaps they cannot hold a certain claim about anything that does not have physically sound evidence. They are not unsure of their beliefs, but rather are abstract thinkers. The existence of a higher being can neither be proven nor disproved. Perhaps life itself does not exist but is rather a figment of another being's imagination? Does anything even mean anything at all? If you can't figure it out, it's not important enough to care about. Now go do whatever the heck you want instead of being confined or conformed to beliefs that were made by whoever however long ago and then mass produced and tailored to the media. If religion never existed, would we even know the difference? Think for yourselves. That's what famous philosophers are, just people who thought for themselves.
