The Temper Trap are a rock band formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 2005. Known for their use of atmospheric sounds, pulsating guitars and soothing, ambient rhythms. Members are Dougy Mandagi, Jonathon Aherne, Lorenzo Sillitto and Toby Dundas. The band released their debut album Conditions in 2009. The album's lead single, Sweet Disposition, reached #6 on the UK Singles Chart. Influences include U2 and Arcade Fire among others.
