University Of Minnesota Talented Youth Mathematics Program. A program with a five-year sequence that covers algebra I and II, geometry, precalculus, and calculus I (equivalent to AP calculus), II (equivalent to introduction to linear algebra and differential equations), and III. Students grades 4 to 7 must take an entrance examination administered twice a year to enter the program. Generally, over 1000 students take this exam and 10% are accepted.
