Originally started as a type of music genre, emo has evolved into a type of style for young teens. Many emo people are considored posers by people not in their cliques. Many people who considor themselves as emo are in fact not emo, but just favor the style. Posers who get a little carried away tend to cut themselves to show off how emo they are. People who considor themselves emo are most likely not emo, unless you count what their friends say. People who do NOT considor themselves emo are probably more emo than the other type of emo, who considor themselves emo. REAL emo people most likely have depression disorders and mood problems.
