Fictional creature found in the game Half-Life. Two legged amphibian with either five or six tentacles located around the mouth on the front of its body, and a tail to counterbalance. The bullsquid is an amphibian with a gold color and a spotted pattern on its back. The tentacles are stained with blood. Bullsquid are commonly found in Xen, and enjoy heavy radiation and moist areas. They like to eat something called a headcrab but will eat anything available. Their large eyes on the sides of their body aren't very useful, but their scent is superb and they may have more methods to track which we have not picked up yet. They've been seen searching in the mud of shallow water, so they may have something called the ampullae of Lorenzini that is commonly found on sharks to detect magnetic fields of creatures in the sand. Bullsquid are highly territorial and attack any equal-sized or smaller interlopers to their territory, often including any other bullsquids. A Bullsquid will bite, spin and whip you with their tail, or spit a lightweight acid ball over long distances from their mouth. Bullsquid do not have seperate sexes, and their reproductive abilities have not been displayed.
