Turner syndrome ... symptoms are much the same as those of the everyday cold ... watery eyes, drippy nose, sore throat, congestion. The name refers to the pitch of one's voice, which sounds extremely deep and husky, much like Kathleen Turner, an actress who may be known from movies in the 1980s or from television in the 1990s, in which she played Chandler Bing's mo/father on Friends." (Not to be confused with the much more serious and real Ullrich-Turner Syndrome.)
