Easily the worst modern web browser in current existence, and quite possibly one of the worst non-malware programs ever designed for any version of the Microsoft Windows operating system. Internet Explorer is a web browser created and "maintained" by Microsoft. It is infamous for having a ridiculously large amount of security holes -- many of them being pathetically easy to execute and often resulting from sloppy, if not entirely incorrect, code -- as well as extremely poor web standards support. Internet Explorer is effectively delaying, if not actively resisting, the evolution and improvement of the entire Internet. The only reason to use Internet Explorer is to download Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or Google Chrome.
