A song by the supergroup audioslave, argueably thier most well known song among audiences and generally a fan favorite along with "be yourself","show me how to live" and "cochise" by the band. rumoured to be about the death of Layne Staley, however, lead singer chris cornell denied this saying "I wrote this long before his death". the true meaning is the idea of being isolated in a room, waiting for death to come, "like a stone", hence the title.
