Since South Korea President Lee Myung-Bak proclaimed “low carbon green growth” as a central tenant of Korean economic growth, the Korean government has tried to define green growth in the Korean socioeconomic context. “Green growth is something that maximizes the synergy of both the environment and growth through their circular structure.
