skylines are great jap cars you can not compare them to musle cars because they are completly diffrent. the R32 Gtrs were perpouse built spec race cars witch followed on with the r33 and r34 models witch are all factory limited dew two jap emmission laws. the r34 skylines won 50 gt500 races consectivly untill they were kicked out of the jap compition. The R32 dominated the aussie v8 supercars and were dubed (The Godzilla). after 3 years they were also kicked out of this compatition. Also skylines cost about 10 times less then any other musle car an thats alot of money to do bolt on mods a rb25det is good for up to a max of 500rwhp been proven to get around 590rwhp befor sumthing broke and that was after over 200 dyno runs and sum mega burnouts the moter had factory internals and. rb30dets can run 750rwhp with stock internals. google R.I.P.S there a New Zealand company they make factory rb rb30det engines and on there first run down the strip are garrented 9sec 1/4mile. All custom fabrication to suit any need.
