a group of overly and frighteningly obsessive females who basically worship (a) certain celebrity(ies)- often males, mostly for their look(s). They would do almost anything to get attention from their idol(s), especially if they are internet stars. A fan girl can be easily recognised: "OMG! I LOVE YOU. CAN I PLEASE HAVE YOUR BABIES?" most common use of fan girls: - to gain ridiculously high popularity on online websites. E.g. tumblarity tumblr; followers twitter, dailybooth; subscribers youtube; etc.
