Working class town (excluding North Salem, which is ultra-rich) in southern New Hampshire which borders Windham, Pelham, Atkinson, and Methuen, Massachusetts. The town's main attractions are Canobie Lake Park and the Rockingham Mall, both of which are visited far more often by people from Lawrence MA. As well as a mall, there's three main plazas: one with Shaw's, Bob's Discount Furniture, and TJ Maxx; one with Market Basket, Kmart, and Staples; and one with Target, BJ's Wholesale, Marshall's, Home Depot, as well as the last remaining Demoulas supermarket (which basically is Market Basket except it sells imitation brand foods at prices so cheap that anyone from Lawrence can buy them). The town also has a liquor store on the border. Drugs from Lawrence-Methuen-Lowell are rampant and the high school is known to have one of the highest frequencies of drug and alcohol usage amongst high schools in the state.
