Originally what angry farmers still clinging to their guns and Bible said every time they thought about their failing farms. Usage has migrated into the mainstream and the word is rapidly replacing the "D" word the most popular expletive. Its most noted use was by former Senator John McPain when his GOP handlers informed him that Sarah Palin had higher ratings then he did. The word is expected to spin off many variations as the country's economy continues to slump, international tensions continue to increase, and federal spending continues to rise. It may be that the 2008 election will be recorded by history as the "obamanation" of all time.
