Western Canada is a region of Canada generally including all parts of Canada west of the province of Ontario. From West to East it includes the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The population of Western Canada is approximately 10 million, or 1/3 of the entire Canadian population.
