A seemingly pointless, and totally stupid variation on the term "GRINDCORE". Apparently Metal fans would like to forget/deny Grindcore's connection to the Hardcore Punk scene of the 80's all together by needlessly tacking on the word "METAL". Grindcore is Grindcore, period... There's no denying it's Thrash Metal connections, but "Grindcore Metal" is just stupid. "Death Grind" seems much more appropriate than the needlessly-long "Grindcore Metal" title, which doesn't even make sense... Metal snobs, stop trying to hijack Grindcore!
