New England is made up of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. The region is known for its inhabitants' intelligence, work ethic, reserve, peppiness, and liberal tendencies. And no, Connecticut, sorry, you don't count. Anywhere that has loud New York people and/or Yankees fans is NOT New England. Enjoy being a Middle Atlantic state with New York and Jersey, because that's really where you belong... at least from a cultural standpoint.
