Since I've seen that the last person who tried to write a Linkin Park article without adding their opinions did exactly the opposite, I'll take the liberty of doing it properly. Linkin Park, previously known as Xero and Hybrid Theory, are an Alternative Metal band from Southern California, consisting of vocalist Chester Bennington, Drummer Rob Bourdon, Guitar player Brad Delson, Bass player Dave Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn, and rapper Mike Shinoda. They have released three studio albums, all of which sold very well, with the possible exception of their latest release, Minutes to Midnight. Most of their popular singles came from the previous two albums, Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Their lyrics often follow a theme concerning teen angst or a feeling of alienation, occasionally touching on relationship troubles. They have been known to add samples and scratching to many of their songs.
