A mythological creature with a massive dorsal fin that runs the entire length of its body, flukes that propel it through the water with vertical movements like a whale, and two massive tusks jutting forward from either side of its lower jaw. Revered by the Rivenese as a creature of immeasurable power and strength, the whark is also a symbolic representation of the will and influence of Gehn, the self-proclaimed god of the Fifth Age. Countless whark tusks are used ceremoniously to flaunt Gehn's absolute authority, and being dropped into a lake to be devoured by wharks was a common fate for those who incurred Gehn's wrath.
