NFTY-TOR brings brings together Reform Jewish Teens from Texas (with the exception of El Paso) and Oklahoma. TOR is One of 19 regions in NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth). TOR has 6 Regional Board(lovingly Reg Bo) Positions. Ranking in the following gavel order: President (Pres) Programming Vice-President (PVP) Social Action Vice-President (SAVP) Religious and Cultural Vice-President (RCVP) Membership Vice-President (MVP) Corresponding Vice-President (CVP) as well as a wonderful mascot named Toro, a small red bull, with a great personality and attitude! NFTY-TOR hosts 6 events during the school year. Summer Kallah (hosted every year at Greene Family Camp (GFC) in Bruceville TX) Fall Conclave, (hosted by various congregations within the region, rotating to different cities each year) Na'aseh V'nishmah (TOR's Study/Action event is focused on SA projects and the current Study Theme of the year, invitation only), Winter Conclave, (hosted by various congregations within the region, rotating to different cities each year) Junior Youth Group Retreat (a chance for the Reg Bo and invited staff to encourage future NFTYites from the 6th to 8th grade into the awesome experience that is NFTY) and Spring Kallah. (is held at GFC every year, the final event, includes General Assembly and Elections of the new Reg Bo). Very proud and loud TOR loves other regions, but is proud to announce it is clearly the BEST.
