A form of American bipartisanship (or nonpartisanship) that often combines fiscally conservative or "fiscally responsible" ideals with moderate-to-liberal moral thinking while attempting to satisfy both Democrat and Republican political parties. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) often subscribes to this ideal. Named after Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN), known for encouraging such activity in the American Senate.
