A cold-blooded vertebrate animal that lives in water, moves with the help of fins, and breathes with gills. Dolphins and whales are not sea kittens, as they breathe with lungs, though they may be equally entertaining to kill for sport. Sea kittens are a tasty alternative to eating 'land fish', also known as 'kittens'. Sea kittens are delicious when grilled, baked, or fried, with or without batter. Lemon and seasoned salt are popular garnishments, and sea kitten is often served on top of, or next to rice. Sea kitten is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential to healthy function of humans, and can only be obtained through diet, as they cannot be synthesized through internal chemical processes.
