A soccer term coined by John Rankin; a winger who plays for Scottish Premier League side, Hibernian. It is an attempt to describe how a long shot towards goal may take an undulating path in mid-air due to the action of 'toe-bashing'(striking a ball with the toe instead of side or instep of foot). It is generally for power in sacrifice of accuracy.
