Edward is a fictional character created by Stephanie Meyer. He appears throught the twilight novels and is a "vegetarian" vampire. The word vegetarian entails that him and his family drink only the blood of animals instead of humans. Edward Cullen's family is made up of 3 couples; Carlisle and Esme, Rosalie and Emmett and Alice and Jasper. Edward Cullen however has a special power/talent, and that is to be able to read minds with one exception: Isabella Swan. Isabella Swan is madly in love with Edward as he is with her. Edward has bronze hair and chalk white skin that is impenetrable and hard and cool to the touch; a feeling often depicted as being similar to marble. Edward Cullen was transformed into a vampire by his adopted father Carlisle Cullen in the early 1920's when both his parents died from influenza and he too was on the verge of death. Carlisle created him as his companian as he did later with others. Edward's was a character full off good and kindness a character impossible to not love.
