-to coat, treat, or combine something with metal. In other words, the result of remixing or remaking a song/theme into a heavy metal song. The song or theme beforehand can be practically anything, if it's not a metal song to begin with (you would just be doing a cover then) Metalizing includes but is not limited to: -Heavy distorted guitars and bass for the rhythm -A lead guitar that follows the scale the melody in the song -A drum rhythm that fits with the song -A keyboard or synthesizer added for a classic feel. Theme songs from classic video games are very popular to metalize.
