Ok, most girls think that cheerleading is not a sport. When in fact, it is. Most peoples opinions-all they do is put on make-up, kick, scream, yell and distract the players. Yea right. Cheerleaders work just as hard as anyone else. We throw girls way up in the air which takes strength and skill, and we catch them without anything except our arms. We don't use nets, knee pads, of anything else. Of course anybody can throw someone in the air and possibly catch them, but that doesn't mean they're doing it right. Most people think it's easy just by watching it, if you haven't tried it then don't judge it. So, cheerleading is a contact sport that is very difficult and takes alot of practice to do.
