César Estrada Chávez was born in March 31, 1927 in Yuma, Arizona. A farm worker, labor leader and civil righs activists, he is hailed as one of the greatest and most influential civil rights activists. With Dolores Huerta, he founded the United Farm Workers, an union organization dedicated to preserving the rights of field laborers nationwide.
