The best running back to ever play for the University of Arkansas. Only the second Two-time Doak Walker Award winner. Two time Heisman Trophy runner-up. Tied an SEC record for yard rushed in a single game with 321 yards against South Carolina. The only other 'back to do that was the great Herchel Walker of Georgia. Also, while at Arkansas, McFadden would line up at Quarterback in the "Wild-Hog" formation. This formation gutted the top ranked LSU run defense for over 250 yards; taking Arkansas to a 58-56 overtime win in Baron Rouge. McFadden, also known as "D-Mac, Run DMC, D-Dog, and 501" was taken fourth in the 2008 NFL draft by the Oakland Raiders. He is an early favorite to be the NFL Offensive rookie of the year.
