Also Known as Metroconvention. One if not the BIGGEST Anime conventions in the United States. Held anually at the Tampa Convention Center in Downtown Tampa, Florida since 2001. This convention spans over three days on a weekend in late July/ early August. This Convention host the one and only Original Anime Human Chess Match where Two teams of 16 "act out" a chess match with scripted Fights. Metrocon also hosts the Masquerade Ball, Tournaments for Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, Magic: The Gathering TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh TCG and a Rave. Metrocon is basically a reason to Cosplay as your favorite anime or Video Game Chracter.
