A (usually Japanese) sports car/sedan that has lots of power and goes fast in a straight line, but is too heavy or awkward in the handling department to be useful at cornering. A battle cruiser can also be any vehicle tuned up with massive amounts of power, but no other modifications to improve handling. They cruise around and look to line up at stoplights and smoke other cars in a short drag race, but other than that they stay away from competition.
