Gallons Per Mile Refers to huge vehicles like SUV's gas usage that actually use up more than 1 gallon of gas for every mile. This is the opposite of Miles Per Gallon. With todays gas prices above 4 dollars per gallon if you still have a vehicle thats fuel usage is calculated in GPM you are literally getting raped at the gas pump.
