The reason people hate the Chicago Cubs and the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. The name comes from the beautiful green ivy that grows on the outfield wall of the greatest stadium in the history of sports. Most people suffering from Ivy Envy are white sox fans who should be called 'Cub Haters' instead of 'sox fans' because they would rather see the Cubs lose than see the sox win.
