A free thinker, who listens to Metal for what it is, who may or may not choose to accentuate his attire with things associated with metal, may meld into any other music culture/subgenre, as metal does not judge, it simply is, and is awsome. Metal is constantly disputed, what is true metal ect, as much as Goth and punk, metals cousins, but for those who wish to claim to be metal, you better be ready to step up if your metal is challenged. Metalheads are usually intelligent, but then again, all genre's say that don't they? metalheads come off as aggressive, violent, and usually are in a musical way. Metalheads are less likely to shoot you than a rapper And I will slap the shit out of the next person to say Nu metal is not metal!!!
