At Centre College in Danville, KY, there is an iconic statue representing the gift of flame to man in greek mythology. "Running the Flame" is an activity that often intoxicated Centre students undertake that involves stripping and running naked to the statue and back to one's origin point. Many students consider it a badge of honor to do so the most times without being caught, but a citation from campus security is just as high an honor. Also, running from the furthest point on campus is also honored.
