A game invented by the Oklahoma State University marching band, namely played within the drum line section. The guidelines for play are as follows: To play tool you must first select a person facing away from you. You then state there name clearly as to get there attention. If they proceed to turn around to look at you or look in your direction in any manner, you may then call them a "tool". The more the person you "tool" out ranks you within the band the more "brownie points" you get for "tooling" them. More than likely, however, the "toolee" with be outranked by the "tooler". Tool is a great game to play on bus rides to and from band contest.
