Actually, emo haters are usually metal heads that are stuck in the 80's to mid 90's. They see Emo as a music genre that is more advanced and inspiring and they don't know how to make fun of it other then to make fun of the clothing style that never really existed in the first place. The so called "emo style" is just punk and goth mixed together. If you make fun of the style, you're making fun of punk and goth styles as well. Most emo haters love Led Zeppelin but yet make fun of the very similar emo style, contradicting to say the least. Most emo haters don't know if they should like the music or the style because the radio has'nt told them its ok yet. Rock lovers like emo and people that are trying to uphold a "toughguy" image to cover for true insicurity hate emo. The emo image is about confidence and the music is about expression that helps learn better than to bottle up feelings that could make you lame like a metal head.
