Generally used to describe urination; however, "going to Stanford" is increasingly popular as a euphemism for defecation. Origin: Conceived as a method to simultaneously mock the concept of school rivalry and show distaste for opponents of increasing social welfare, "going to Stanford" received pop culture status after acts bearing its name were committed at the university's graduate school of business in 2007.
