emo i generally and wrongly used by many people. Saying it's short for emotional. Typically used when talking about people who are sad, cry alot, cut theirselves, have massive bangs, wear black/red, and swear up and down, that no one understands them. Emo is short for emotive hardcore. Okay. The way people use it is talking about scene or fashion core people.
