A Prep, the term originating from "Preparatory school", is usually an upper-middle or upper class Caucasian individual who falls into the higher levels of school society. Most preps take great pride in their status as "Better than everyone" while also making the biggest fools of themselves. They usually wear brand name clothes bought from stores such as A&F, Hollister, etc., and are only aware of whatever is advertised on MTv or the local pop rock/hip hop station. Preps are quick to follow social norms and are often found on sports and cheerleading teams, and are often very preoccupied with appearance and wealth.
