Division of Youth and Family Services; it is an organization that aims to prevent child abuse in New Jersey by taking children away from predator parents. They are responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect and, if necessary, arranging for the child's protection and the family's treatment. Basically, they lock away dead beat Dads and send kids to foster homes. If a kid calls DYFS, they come, no matter what. It is based out of NJ, and for NJ only. Their Mission Statement: To ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and to support families.
