1. (n) A conversation, normally extremely awkward and painful, between a parent and their offspring about sex. It tends to not really teach the kid anything other than DON'T talk to your parents about sex. 2. (n) a talk in which two people, generally of different sexes, discuss what they are in relation to each other, what they want from each other, and what they are going to do about it. Also awkward, embarrassing, and painful, but for different reasons.
