A band that origionated from New Jersey, by lead singer Gerard way and ex drummer Matt Pelliser. Origionally formed because Gerard saw the twin towers collapse and wanted to do something in his life. they have 3 albums. 'bullets' 'three cheers' and 'the black parade'. they have many dedicated fans, and a street team, 'the MCRmy' They are NOT emo, and never will be with lyrics such as 'do what it takes to survive' they are an anti-emo band and have 1 song that trys to brain washt he listener into NOT slitting their wrists--- 'slit your wrists, it isnt that much fun' behind this lyric is 'dont do it, do it, dont do it, do it' so he is saying DO NOT SLIT YOUR WRISTS. so how the hell is that emo?!?
